This is a “locals” kind of place. There’s plenty of free parking but it is a no-frills place that has many traditional foods. The setting is very casual and the service is pretty good. The food is great. My wife, son, and I went here because we hadn’t cooked anything and this place turned out great. I had the spicy stir-fried lemongrass chicken, which was great. My wife had the Bo Luc lac with vegetables, and my son the shredded pork and grilled pork chops. Everything was delicious.

A friend took me to Rice Paper tonight for dinner. I always have a hard time eating out because I'm celiac. The menu was clearly labeled which items where gluten free and the waitress was very helpful. I got the chicken Pho and it was amazing. It was not marked as one of the GF options but I asked and the waitress said it was because of the hoisin sauce that comes on the side. I skipped that sauce and got the Pho and it was the best I've ever had. If you see something you want to try and it's not marked GF, ask because they might be able to do it. My friend got the Bun/vermicelli rice noodle soup with prawns, fish, pork, and squid. It would highly recommend this restaurant if you have gluten issues.

This restaurant is located in the heart of the Vietnamese Town, and after trying every Vietnamese restaurant in the area, I can confidently say this is the best of them all. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is incredibly professional and friendly. The staff here are so kind that even leaving a 30% tip feels well-deserved. There’s a cheerful, full-figured female server (unfortunately, I don’t know her name) who treats customers like family and provides exceptional service. There’s also a male server who, at first, seemed a bit odd with his constant smiling, but he quickly won me over with his warm, family-like approach to serving guests. From the food to the service, everything here is outstanding. This is hands down the best of the best in all of Virginia

Best Vietnamese restaurant on the East Coast! Not exaggerating. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Virginia at Eden Mall. The menu is huge and the quality is top notch. I can confidently say the best Vietnamese food. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Not only were the food and drinks phenomenal, but the restaurant was beautifully decorated and the service was attentive as well. I could go on and on about this restaurant because it's so great, but I won't. You have to come to check it out for This place blew me away with the flavors and portions! We can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu.

This place is a gem for authentic Vietnamese food—it’s even Vietnamese-mom approved! The dishes are flavorful, affordable, and the packed dining room speaks for itself. While there’s usually a wait for a table, the fast turnover makes it manageable. Just keep in mind they don’t offer free tap water—only bottled water for sale. (You can get hot water for free or bring your own bottled water like my mom did. ) Overall, totally worth it for the food!

We ordered Vietnamese crepe with tofu substitute, seafood pho, and seafood stir fried rice. It was all delicious! The crepe was our favorite. Definitely would go back to again!

I recently had the opportunity to visit this restaurant, and it certainly met our expectations. Unlike many other Vietnamese establishments, the dishes here showcased a unique and subtle herbal flavor that felt distinct and noteworthy. The beef pho was served hot and flavorful, featuring a rich beef broth that was particularly enjoyable given the cool weather. The portion of assorted beef in the soup was generous, although the soup itself was slightly oilier than expected. The bo bun hue offered a pleasant spiciness and included a well-cooked pig knuckle and a broth rich in herbs and spices, which we found pretty satisfying. The beef wrapped in grape leaves was both tender and flavorful. As for beverages, the Vietnamese coffee was robust, aligning with expectations, and the mango smoothie provided a refreshing balance to the spiciness of the bo bun hue. The service was adequate, and the ambiance was clean and tidy, with the walls adorned with a commendable array of awards. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

We enjoy the Vietnamese hotpot and dishes (e.g., chicken pho, Rice Paper platter, grilled lemongrass beef with rice paper, duck salad) here. The ingredients are fresh, and the staff is willing to swap out ingredients that we don’t like. We two people couldn’t finish the hotpot - probably sharing among 3-4 people with an additional appetizer is better. Chicken pho and Rich Paper platter are in the right side for an individual. The grilled lemongrass beef with rice paper and duck salad are both super good. Overall, it’s a great Vietnamese restaurant.
